The border with Sweden was a crucial lifeline for the Home Front. Courier and refugee traffic was widespread, with many trips across the border, often with their lives at stake.
From Rømskog Church, via places like Teigen, and across the border to Systemon and Gate in Sweden. Here they received news and help.
